বায়োস পাসওয়ার্ডের মাধ্যমে আমরা কম্পিউটারকে অনাক্ষাংখীত ব্যবহার থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারি। বায়োসে দুই ধরনের পাসওয়ার্ড সেট করা যায়। এক ধরনের পাসওয়ার্ড হল পাওয়ার অন করার পর পাসওয়ার্ড চাইবে, সঠিক পাসওয়ার্ড দিতে ব্যার্থ হলে কম্পিউটার চালু হবে না। এবং অন্য ধরনের পাসওয়ার্ড হল কম্পিউটার অন হবে কিন্তু বায়োস সেটিংসে ঢুকতে গেলে পাসওয়ার্ড চাইবে। অনেক সময় দেখা যায়, ব্যবহারকারী বায়োস পাসওয়ার্ড ভুলে গেছেন(( তাই কম্পিউটার অন করতে পারছেন না। অথবা কারো কাছ থেকে ব্যবহৃত কম্পিউটার কিনেছেন বায়োস সেটিংসে ঢুকতে গিয়ে দেখলেন পাসওয়ার্ড চাইছে। এই ধরনের সমস্যার ক্ষেত্রে বায়োস পাসওয়ার্ড বাইপাস বা রিসেট করার প্রয়োজন হয়। নিচের তিন পদ্ধতিতে আপনি এই কাজটি করতে পারেন।
১. বায়োস ব্যাটারী খুলে:

মাদারবোর্ডে একটু খেয়াল করলেই দেখতে পাবেন একটা চ্যাপ্টা ব্যাটারী লাগানো আছে। এই ধরনের ব্যাটারী হাতঘড়িতে ও ব্যবহার করা হয়। সাবধানে ব্যাটারীটি খুলে ফেলুন(অবশ্যই কম্পিউটার বন্ধ অবস্থায়)। ১০ থেকে ১৫ মিনিট পর ব্যাটারীটি লাগিয়ে কম্পিউটার চালু করুন। পাসওয়ার্ড মুছে যাওয়ার কথা। তবে কিছু মাদারবোর্ডে ক্যাপাসিটর ব্যবহার করা হয় পাওয়ার ব্যাকআপ রাখার জন্য। এই ধরনের মাদারবোর্ডে ১০/১৫ মিনিটে কাজ হবে না। অন্তত ২৪ ঘন্টার জন্য ব্যাটারীটি খুলে রাখুন। পাসওয়ার্ড মুছে যাবে। কিছু কিছু মাদারবোর্ডে ব্যাটারীটি সোল্ডার করা থাকে। এক্ষেত্রে সোল্ডারিংয়ের অভীজ্ঞতা না থাকলে অভীজ্ঞ কাউকে দিয়ে ব্যাটারীটি খুলিয়ে নিন। শেষ কথা হল, আধুনিক কিছু কিছু মাদারবোর্ডে বিশেষ করে ল্যাপটপের মাদারবোর্ডের ব্যাটারী খুলে কাজ হয় না। এই ধরনের মাদারবোর্ডের ক্ষেত্রে পরবর্তী পদ্ধতিগুলো চেষ্টা করুন।
২. জাম্পার অথবা DIP সুইচ এর মাধ্যমে:

অনেক মাদারবোর্ডে জাম্পার অথবা ডিপ সুইচের মাধ্যমে পাসওয়ার্ড রিসেট করার ব্যবস্থা থাকে। এক্ষেত্রে জাম্পার বা ডিপ সুইচের পাশে লেখা থাকে কোন ধরনের সেটিংস দিতে হবে। মাদারবোর্ডে লেখা না থাকলে মাদারবোর্ডের সাথে দেওয়া ম্যানুয়াল পড়ে অথবা মাদারবোর্ড প্রস্তুতকারী কোম্পানীর ওয়েবসাইট থেকে ও জেনে নিতে পারেন।
৩. গোপন পাসওয়ার্ডের মাধ্যমে:

অনেক বায়োস প্রস্তুতকারী কোম্পানী তাদের বায়োসে কিছু গোপন পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়ে রাখে। এই পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়ে অন্য পাসওয়ার্ডগুলোকে বাইপাস করে চলে যাওয়া যায়B-)B-)। নিচে এধরনের একটা তালিকা দেওয়া হল।

Planning Principles

According to Harvard University Professor Daniel Gilbert (2006), the human species greatest and most unique ability is to imagine and anticipate objects and episodes that do not currently exist, that is, to plan for the future.

Planning is a noble but underappreciated profession. Planners help communities create their preferred future – good planning makes progress toward paradise while bad planning leaves a legacy of problems and disputes. Planners perform civilization’s heavy lifting by anticipating and resolving community conflicts. Good planning requires special skills and perspectives:

• Most people prefer to ignore problems until they become unavoidable. Planners are professional worriers who seek out potential problems so they can be mitigated.

• Most people look at a problem from a single perspective. Planners are responsible for considering multiple perspectives; they ask “what is best for everybody overall?”

• Most people prefer simple problems and solutions. Planners learn to appreciate complexity, and search for deeper meanings and underlying causes. Planners learn to work with uncertainty and ambiguity.

• Most people consider compromise a sign of weakness and failure. Planners are passionate
about compromise because it resolves conflicts and often leads to better solutions.

• Most people prefer to consider one issue at a time. Planners apply integrated analysis, so
individual, short-term decisions are consistent with multiple, long-term goals.

That is our individual and collective strength. Planners are the coaches. Traditional communities relied on shaman and priests to help maintain balance between the human and natural worlds. In modern communities these responsibilities are borne by planners. Yet, planners often receive little respect. Our successes are taken for granted, and we are often blamed for failures beyond our control. As coordinators of public decision-making planners are lightening rods to criticism. Our role as unbiased facilitators is often misinterpreted as heartless bureaucrats. Stakeholders frequently hold planners personally responsible when dissatisfied with outcomes. Planners need diplomatic skills and a thick skin: if we do our job well we are criticized approximately equally by all sides. A family physician who emphasizes preventive health strategies (reducing tobacco consumption, eating balanced diets, regular exercise, etc.) often provides far greater total benefits with far less total costs than a surgeon who intervenes during a critical illness. Yet the family doctor is considered an annoying nag while the surgeon is considered a hero. Similarly, good planning tends to be undervalued because it prevents problems, so the people who benefit are unaware of their gains. So go forth and toil noble planners! Take heart that your efforts, although underappreciated, are essential to your community’s wellbeing and creation of earthly paradise.

Planning refers to the process of deciding what to do and how to do it. Planning occurs at
many levels, from day-to-day decisions made by individuals and families, to complex decisions made by businesses and governments..

Methodological process of planning

Good planning requires a methodical process that clearly defines the steps that lead to optimal solutions. This process should reflect the following principles:
• Comprehensive – all significant options and impacts are considered.
• Efficient – the process should not waste time or money.
• Inclusive – people affected by the plan have opportunities to be involved.
• Informative – results are understood by stakeholders (people affected by a decision).
• Integrated – individual, short-term decisions should support strategic, long-term goals.
• Logical – each step leads to the next.
• Transparent – everybody involved understands how the process operates.

A principle of good planning is that individual, short-term decisions should support strategic, long-term goals. This requires comprehensive evaluation and negotiation to help people accept solutions that may seem difficult and costly in the short-term. Good planning is insightful, comprehensive and strategic. Planners should strive to truly understand problems, not just a single perspective or manifestation. Effective planning requires correctly defining problems and asking critical questions. A planning process should not be limited to the first solution proposed or the concerns of people who attend meetings. For example, downtown merchants might complain of inadequate customer parking near their stores. This problem can be defined in various ways – inadequate parking supply, too many vehicles, or inefficient management of available spaces – each implying different solutions. Here are questions to ask to help understand this problem:

• How much parking exists, including spaces currently unavailable to customers?
• Who currently uses the most convenient spaces?
• Who encounters this problem, when and where?
• How is parking currently managed (including regulations and prices)?
• What is the cost of increasing parking supply?
• What management strategies could help address this problem?
• Who bears the costs and benefits from potential solutions?
• How well do various solutions integrate with strategic planning objectives?

Planners must manage information flows, including gathering, organizing and distribution (Litman, 2006). Planners should anticipate questions and provide accurate and understandable information, using visual information (maps, graphs, tables, etc.) and appropriate examples. Although a planning process is ideally linear;

Utt (2005), argues that planners “impose their aesthetic sensibilities on the rest of us, the philistine masses. Instead of letting the planners have their way, communities should work to restore and strengthen individual property rights.”. For example, a planner must be able to describe a general concept such as equity or safety, and apply these concepts when evaluating a specific policy or plan.

Planning Framework
A planning framework defines the basic planning process structure. This typically includes the following components.

• Principles – A basic rule or concept used for decision-making.

Evaluation refers to the process of determining the impacts of an object, activity, policy or program, and its ultimate value. Economic impact refers to benefits and costs, which also be defined in terms of problems or their opposite, objectives (for example, if Congestion is considered a problem then congestion reduction is an objective). The terms costs and benefits are more quantitative, while problems and objectives are more qualitative, as illustrated below.

oday I have participated in a seminar in my university (Daffodil International University) that was organized by Leo Computer System and this seminar was about to give a complete guidelines for students who are studying on various kinds of ICT related subject. i.e: Computer Science & Engineering, Computer & Information Science, Telecommunication engineering etc.. I have enjoyed this seminar very much. First of all, I want to give thanks to my teacher Md. Abu Taher (Head of the dept. CSE, Daffodil International University) for arranging this kind of event for us that was really essential for me, for us & every students who want to be more conscious about their career in future.

Basically, Bangladesh is a developing country, not developed country. In Bangladesh, there are many students, many skilled personnel, educated person, skilled IT professional. But I will say that if we consider the ultimate present condition of Bangladesh, there is no huge opportunity to focus ourselves. It is very much true but sad and obviously the condition is being changed fast. The Bangladesh government, Government based institutions, Private organizations is taking or making their planning by focusing IT related issue or terms. But some limitation is still unchanged. We hope, it will be almost reduced.

I have meet many University students and most of the students of this position are going to be frustrated for their life, for their planning, for their future. They can’t find the exact path to discover their own dream. They still can’t know what they are doing, what they should do. It is the main cause of their frustration. I think frustration is made by us, it can’t come by itself.

So, we need the perfect guidelines that we can find from our teachers, from our classmates, from our senior one to build up our career, our dream. Actually nobody can make anyone satisfied. It should acquire by our self.

We are Bangladeshi by birth so we have a habit to become serious at our last situation. We should overcome it. As a student, we should become more serious from out initial position (I think it starts from 1st year of graduation).

Many friends of mine regularly asks me a same question that is about “What they should do?” But I am also a student. I just hear their voice but I can’t reply them with any hope. Because I am also frustrated that is about “What I am doing, is it perfect for me?”.

Our university teachers have a great role in this issue. A teacher & only a teacher should be a guide for his/her students. And obviously it should be. Our teachers, University autority, government authority can take steps for focusing the voices of students. But may be we are very busy with our academy, with our own activities, with our own professional. If this is true, then where we will go? (?). Who will give the answer that “Why we are studying to become a computer engineer?, Why we are writing a small piece of computer program?, Why we can’t make our dream for my future?. I think every questions has answer. But who (?) will give the answer to us?

I think every private & public varsity students & teachers need to conscious about this kind of serious matter. Because without proper guidelines, a student can loose their attention from their study, from their role.

University is the initial point to become real conscious about our career. So every private & public university need to take necessary steps to give proper career guidelines for their students. Teachers may become more responsible for becoming their student’s guide.

For private university after each semester, we can arrange a ‘Student’s Career Week’ where students can get various kinds of help, support, suggestions, advice by discussing with each other (teachers, students, senior students, etc…). On the other hand, each public varsity can arrange a public ‘Career Fair’ for their students at their own campus that will make their student’s more conscious about their career & they can enjoy their students & their dream what is their love. Also senior students or any career development organization or forum can publish monthly magazine for their university students, make career campaign. University authority can arrange a training session for their students where students can make sense that will be necessary for their real career (Resume writing, Speaking skill, Interview Skill, Job searching, Job applying, etc…). University can arrange an extra free course with it’s every graduation course that will be taught in first or second semester. University authority can make a Career Planning & development Club for giving the right & perfect career guidelines for their new students, old students.

I know everything is not possible in a day. But It is easy to take preparation from now. Because we should think that Bangladeshi student’s are really awesome, really genius, really skilled but they have one lackings that is “Appropriate Career Guidelines”.

This post not only say about my own voice, it is the say of each students. But nobody can’t see, can’t feel it. And finally we (students) are breaking our heart. I will say all of my friends, all of my teachers, all of my well wisher that as a students we should recover our rights, we should make our voice for our needs. It is not the day that we will keep us in a one window. The day has come to discover ourselves, to inform other nation that Bangladesh can do. We have a strong manpower. 1. Start with an End in Mind
Ask yourself, “Why am I speaking?” “What do I want the audience to do after listening to my speech?” This will help you focus on the message you want to share with your audience. It will help you focus on who is your audience, the key points, and what you want your audience to do after listening to you.
2. Keep It Simple
Keep your presentation simple by learning to “speak to express instead of speaking to impress.” Also keep it simple with the structure of your speech. An opening, body with tree major points, and a closing will help you connect with your audience.
Just be sincere, concise, and simple in your presentation and you will always connect with your audience.
3. Practice
Master your presentation by practicing. Here’s the secret to practicing…first read your speech to yourself 2-3 times. This allows you to work out the majority of the rough spots in your presentation before you start rehearsing.
Then rehearse in front of a mirror or even better a video camera or tape player. Also try to rehearse in front of someone whose opinion you value.
Then practice as close as possible to your speaking environment as possible. For example, if you will be speaking behind a lectern, practice with your notes on an ironing board.
4. Visualize Success
Before going to sleep the night before a presentation you have to take time to visualize the success of the presentation. The key to making visualization work for you is involving as many senses (sound, touch, sight, smell, etc.) as possible in your visualization. Visualize yourself giving a successful presentation where you see yourself as a confident presenter, hear yourself handling questions, etc. Visualize successful presentations so that it becomes real.
5. Nail Your Presentation Opening
It’s the first words your audience hears. Know your opening like the back of your hand. Know exactly what you are going to say. Once you get started and gain some momentum you will start to gain confidence for the rest of your speech.

It helps to pause for 3-5 seconds before you are about to start your presentation so that can focus on what you are about to say.

6. Nail Your Presentation Ending
It’s the last words your audience hears and reminder about you. You can have a great opening and body and have a bad ending and your audience your always remember how you ended.

Ask your audience to take action, think about an idea, etc. so that they understand why they are there.

7. Backup if You Forget
If you forget what you are about to say or lose your place in the presentation do the following:

Stop speaking. Take two steps backward. Then take a deep breath. Collect your thoughts. Smile. Take two steps forward and proceed with your presentation.
Go back and repeat the last sentence. That will help trigger what comes next in your presentation

If you forget a piece of information, collect yourself, and then go forward. Never say, “I’m sorry.” Unless the audience has a copy of every single word of your speech they will never know you forgot something.

8. Get Excited About Your Presentation
Get excited so that the audience is excited about hearing your presentation.

Some of the ways you can become excited is:

Remember what you say is important and can make a difference for your audience.
Every opportunity to present is a chance for you to succeed.
Every time you speak you become better than the last time.

Following is a sample of my blog. Yeah I know, second post in a day. Easy there killer. Thought I would give a little more reading material for those who regularly check my blog, since it has been few posts lately. My girlfriend is playing F.E.A.R. That game (probably sadly) scares the hell out of me. Something about haunting a little girl with paranormal powers and her clones of my team members makes my weapons feel a little lackluster. Speaking of scared in a game. We bought Bioshock 2 the other day because I saw a commercial I realy loved during a UFC fight. Whoa, I just sounded super gay. Anyway, a few of us were sitting around while I played the new game. I was pretty jumpy the entire time, as I am with any game I feel could involve monsters, weapons, scary music, dark rooms, dolls, animals, people, etc. So I'm playing this game. I'm walking around underwater when I see a shark. I'm all "hey did you see that shark it was awesome!" I said this mostly because I am easily amazed at video games. Then I see what I think is a rope or something. Rope. Ha. I wish. It was a flippin' GIANT SQUID! It in no way harms you, but I scream like a child immediately. Scariest thing that I have ever seen in a video game I think. I should be writing on my book right now. I almost got an entire 3 paragraphs finished today. Yay. At this pace, I may finish my first book before my children finish their third. I wish I had some God given talent to sing or dance or write or act or have long, lovely legs. For commercials. 'Cuz if I could sing, I would sell out and be a back up singer for Miley Cyrus in a HEARTBEAT. Or back up dancer. Or write her songs. Or act like I do all of these things. Or at least I would have long, lovely legs.

For those who do desire to become home owners, images of coming back to a welcoming home after a day at work, spending time with the family within the sanctity of its walls and pottering in the garden bring feelings of security and happiness. However, it can be tempting to want it all now, and with that desire comes the danger of over borrowing and getting into more debt than you can comfortably repay. It therefore pays to consider what your needs really are and what you would be willing to live without. For example, if you are part of a couple with no children and no need to work from home, could you live without a third bedroom and large garden? On the other hand, if you have a young family would you consider moving to an outer suburb for the extra space it would afford rather increasing an existing mortgage in order to maintain an inner city address? Make a list of the factors that are most important to you, taking into consideration the length of time you intend to live in the house and changes (such as starting a family) to your future circumstances. Making these choices will mean compromising on some things, but you will be better off making sacrifices now rather than struggling to make repayments later or finding there is no extra cash to take care of repairs or much needed renovations.

Setting a budget
Once you have decided on the type of home you need, it is helpful to set a budget. What are the advantages of buying versus renting? Consider the pros and cons of each and whether your motivation to buy matches the lifestyle you have or want to have.

Why buy?
There seems to be an inherent desire in most of us to eventually 'nest' and make our home somewhere. This usually means that buying a home is more desirable than renting and brings a sense of satisfaction and security that cannot be matched. Unfortunately, the rapid increase of values in the property market in recent years has pushed home ownership out of reach for some would-be first time buyers. However affordability does not necessarily equate with having a high income. Home ownership is a long-term goal, and requires planning, tight budgeting and saving strategies. Not everyone is willing to make the types of sacrifices this can sometimes require so it helps to consider some of the pros and cons of buying in order to examine your own priorities.

Advantages:
Security: Owning your own home brings a sense of satisfaction, security and stability. There are no lease conditions to worry about and you are no longer subject to the whims of a landlord who has control over the length of your tenancy and the cost of rent.

Investment: As long as your home is appreciating or maintaining value, you are growing equity (ownership) in your home. This equity can be later used to secure further loans and will also provide security in retirement.

Savings strategy: In a sense, making repayments is like a type of forced savings strategy. The more you pay off, the more of your home you will own. Furthermore, once you have paid off your mortgage, you will free up a large portion of your income which will lighten your financial responsibilities.

Lifestyle: Choosing the style and type of home for your lifestyle (or changing it to fit) is a huge incentive for many people to become home owners. In rented premises, time, money and effort spent on decoration and gardening will not return to you beyond the length of your lease and in most cases, the landlord will be very particular about any modifications you make in the first place. WHY WE MAKE a Custom Bar on Wheels?

A custom bar on wheels is a very useful addition to any home. You can roll it from room to room or even take it outside onto the patio or deck and serve drinks to your friends and family. Although buying a custom bar on wheels is expensive, you can make your own for a fraction of the cost. It doesn’t require any exceptional carpentry skills and can be made using some basic tools and a little planning.

Tools and Materials

2 Pieces of 1/2 inch plywood, 30 by 18 inches
1 Piece of 1/2 inch plywood, 30 by 24 inches
2 Pieces of 1/2 inch plywood, 24 by 18 inches
6 pieces of 2 by 2 lumber, 28 inches long
6 pieces of 2 by 2 lumber, 18 inches long
4 pieces of 2 by 2 lumber, 26 inches long

Step 1- Framing Top and Bottom

Take one of the 30 by 18 pieces of plywood. Place one of the 18 inch pieces of 2 by 2 lumber under each one of the 18 inch ends so they are flush with the edges. Screw the lumber in place, using several screws along the length to make it secure. Next, take two of the 28 inch pieces of lumber and place them under the long sides of the plywood so you create a frame. Screw in place, with the screws 6 inches apart.

Repeat on the other 30 by 18 inch piece of plywood.

Select one of the pieces you’ve just worked on to be the bottom on your custom bar. Create a second frame of 2 by 2 lumber on the other side of the plywood on this piece and screw in place. Measure 3/4 inch in from each corner on the lumber and mark with a pencil. At each mark, drill a hole large enough to accommodate the leg of the caster (the caster package will give the dimensions). Do not put the casters in place yet.

Step 2 - Assembling the Bar

Take the bottom of the custom bar and turn it so the holes for the casters are on the underside. Now, take one of the 26 inch pieces of 2 by 2 lumber and stand it in the corner of the frame of the bottom of the bar. Screw it in place going through from the lumber at the sides. Repeat on the three other corners so you have your pieces of 2 by 2 standing upright.

Now it’s time to attach the front of the bar. Take the 30 by 24 piece of plywood. Fit it to the top of the frame of the bar bottom so it rests on the frame and against the uprights you’ve just put into place. Using a level to make sure the uprights are straight, screw through the plywood to the uprights using several screws. The top of the plywood front of the bar should be 2 inches below the top of the uprights.

Take one piece of the 24 by 18 inch plywood and attach to the uprights at the side of the bar, screwing through the plywood. Repeat on the other side.

Fit the top of the bar onto the uprights so they fit just inside the frame. Screw all four uprights into place, going through the frame you’ve created. Your bar should now be firm.

Step 3 - Attaching the Casters

Turn the custom bar upside down to expose the holes you’ve drilled for the casters on each corner. You should have a plastic sleeve for each caster that fits snugly into each hole. Insert these then push in the casters. This might require a little force. Now turn the bar back over and your custom bar on wheels will be ready to roll!
